OCES is a social welfare organization which intends to provide food, clothing, shelter and medical treatment to orphans. It also aims to provide basic and vocational education to children, irrespective of race, gender, religion or age.
OCES is committed to promoting the rights of orphans, children who are marginally discriminated, suffering from hunger and tropical and monsoon-related diseases.
The Head Office is located in Stockholm, Sweden. The first field will be established in the Chittagong district of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is our first catchment area as the country suffers from rising environmental pollution and soil degradation, which results in poverty affecting large sections of society, including the 5 million orphans living in the country.
OCES is currently awaiting confirmation of registration with the Charity Commission in Sweden.
At present the organisation is planning to run a sponsorship programme and intends to build a joint institution in the near future.
It is envisaged that the institution will also be used as a shelter following natural disasters, such as cyclones or floods. The institution will primarily cater for orphans, children in need and will also benefit the local community.
We warmly welcome any financial contributions from donors; all funds, save for administrative expenses (maximum of 10%) will directly benefit the orphans.
